RYE Eligibility
Must be between 15.5 and 18.5 years old at the time of departure
Must be in the upper half of your class academically and/or have a 2.75 cumulative GPA
Exchange is during an academic year, and lasts 10-11 months
Expected to be adaptable, mature, open-minded, and a strong ambassador
Complete an interview
Long Term
Must be between 15.5 and 18.5 years old at the time of departure
The program is a reciprocal exchange: your family hosts a student from abroad, and you stay with their family in return
Exchanges occur during the summer months and last 3 to 6 weeks
Expected to be adaptable, mature, open-minded, and a strong ambassador
